The training for Recovery Coaches encompasses a comprehensive understanding of their roles, functions, and ethical considerations. Participants will explore core values, principles, and the stages of recovery while enhancing their relationship-building skills and active listening abilities. The program emphasizes the importance of self-disclosure and storytelling, alongside practical applications of the stages of change and recovery. Additionally, it fosters awareness of cultural factors, power dynamics, and privilege, addressing ethical boundaries and decision-making processes. Coaches will also engage in recovery wellness planning and skill practice, ultimately applying this knowledge to their everyday work in the field.
